During my recent visit to Fort Wayne, Indiana I was fortunate to be able to enjoy a 3-night stay at the Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown at Grand Wayne Convention Center as a guest. Located central to almost everything Fort Wayne and an easy commute from the Fort Wayne International Airport, it was an easy decision to stay here. Having a shuttle from the airport is a convenience I often look for, and the Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown delivers here too with their complimentary shuttle service.
Check-in is fast and comfortable, with plenty of staff waiting to check you in or answer any of your questions. I should add that the friendliness of everyone at the Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown was outstanding!
My room, on the 6th floor, was extremely comfortable with a large sitting area, office space, spacious bathroom, and a very comfortable king-sized bed. The amenities are excellent and include a mini-fridge, coffee maker (with great coffee!), microwave, internet connections, Iron and ironing board, luxurious bedding, and bath amenities. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable, allowing you the privacy and relaxation you need after visiting all the fantastic things to do in Fort Wayne.
Though I had zero complaints about my view, yours may vary. It was a lot of fun listening to the ball game at night!
There are two options for dining at the Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown, their popular destination for breakfast “The Bistro” and boasting 30 HD TVs tuned to major sporting events, “Champs Restaurant & Sports Bar” featuring a delicious and varied menu along with a full-service bar. Complimentary WiFi is also available in both locations.
The Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown features a large lounge area that is perfect for networking, relaxing or even catching up on the news on one of their large t.v.’s. Located conveniently next to the lounge is the Boarding Pass computer allowing you to check into your flight and print a boarding pass too.
There should be no issues staying on top of your fitness program or perhaps even start a new one with the well equipped gym and large indoor pool.
Six floors, 249 Rooms, including one suite and seven meeting rooms, with a total of 5,993 sq ft of total meeting space, the Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown has plenty of space for all your needs.
Having spent three relaxing nights in Fort Wayne at the Courtyard Fort Wayne Downtown, experiencing much of what the area offers, I can highly recommend a stay here!
